Jamil has over 25 years’ experience in funds management and is one of Australia’s leading experts in alternatives. He has been responsible for managing multi-billion-dollar relationships across a variety of Australian and New Zealand institutions.
Prior to Longreach, Jamil was at Franklin Templeton where he was responsible for the full investment delivery and the key investment specialists across the firm’s broad alternatives capability. During his time the firm’s alternative assets reached their highest level in the region. He has also worked at Mercer (Australia), RBC in Canada, Capital Group in the UK and State Street in the UK and Canada.
