Longreach Credit Investors is an Australian private debt investment management firm specialising in providing customised debt solutions to high quality Australian and New Zealand lower middle market businesses.

Our investment team has significant experience in Australian direct lending, distressed credit and insolvency across industries and multiple economic cycles advancing more than $1bn in loans since 2018.

Australian businesses are increasingly underserviced by Australian banks, often unable to access appropriate debt capital financing, especially for growth.

We leverage our extensive lending experience to offer flexible financing solutions to meet the needs of each business with competitive terms and structures.

Borrowers

We are different to other lenders
  • We think in terms of relationships rather than transactions. We take the time to gain a deep understanding of each borrower’s business so that we can structure bespoke capital solutions across changing market environments. ​
  • We lend against the value of each business by assessing more than just historical financials.
  • We spend more time looking forward than backward and work to understand the cashflows and enterprise value of each business.​
  • Our loans are typically non-dilutive, and we do not require property, tangible assets or personal guarantees as security.​
Our Lending Criteria

Who we lend to: Australian and New Zealand businesses​

Transaction types include but are not limited to:​

  • Acquisition finance​
  • Management and leveraged buy-outs​
  • Refinancing​
  • Dividend recapitalisations ​
  • Wholesale funding to other lenders​
  • Special situations loans​
  • Turnaround financing

Security: Strong preference to rank ahead of any other secured claim.​

Loan size: Targeted loan sizes are typically between $2m and $40m however we can fund larger facilities.
